LNK Industries art object Snow Ball is situated at the end of Freedom Boulevard Alley and is part of Christmas Tree Way Festival in Riga. Snow Ball is made from 3 geodesic structure spheres of different diameters (4m, 5m, 6m) that altogether shape three-dimensional load bearing frame. The external sphere structure is filled with transparent plastic material, while the middle and inner sphere with printed painting fragments of artist Kristine Luize Avotina, creating rich, spatial world of Snow Ball. Between the outer and middle sphere is an air gap, which is maintained with continuous air movement for artificial snow. Snow Ball is dynamically lit from inside, creating expressive art object for the darkest time of the year.
