The quarter is composed of 4 apartment buildings and 12 linked houses. Placing the short elevations of apartment buildings towards canal allows to make a connection between canal and the rest of the territory.  The plan shape of the apartment buildings create more private courtyards toward canal, but at the same time do not separate them from public' life. Each of apartment building’s room has separate balcony which size depends from rooms function. The placement and the shape of the linked houses create private courtyards that are separated from neighbors with building itself instead of a wall.
